Panto Starts

As part of the Prudhoe Millennium Celebrations a group of people got together to put on a Pantomime in Prudhoe, they managed to persuade the Millennium Association for Prudhoe to include this in the events for 2000.

Jennifer McGee then asked if she could write the script for the pantomime.

We approached people who had been involved in previous Gang Show productions in Prudhoe to come on board.

Jennifer then went on to write “Old Crocks, Frocks and One Smoking Dragon” and this was performed at Prudhoe Community High School in November 2000 and was Directed by Richard Gascoigne.

Everyone had enjoyed performing the Pantomime and decided they wanted to stay together as a group and Dragon Tale Theatre Group was born.

Since then Dragon Tale Theatre Group has grown in numbers and continues to attract sell out audiences and has now performed the following shows.

Currently in our Fifteenth year and still going strong
